From Stories to Science
Join us in 12,027 as we explore the epic stories our ancestors told to make sense of the world, and the science that explains it all now.
Made by Humans, for Humans
Behind every page is a team of real people: researchers digging into myths, writers shaping stories, and artists illustrating each unique legend by hand. Every detail (and there are many!) is there for a reason. Creating this calendar takes a year of hard work, but it's become our statement against mindless AI slop.
Adding 10,000 Years for All of Humanity
Humanity's story didn’t start 2,000 years ago... it began over 12,000 years ago, with the rise of farming, cities, and shared knowledge. By adding 10,000 years to our current calendar, we give the full arc of civilization the space it deserves. It's a simple change with big perspective.

"When brainstorming this year’s theme, we considered how complex the world really is. We still can’t explain everything today, so how did people do it in the past? Illustrating these concepts that go beyond what a camera could capture gave us a lot of creative freedom. Each illustration was carefully conceptualised and designed, and we aimed to make the artworks very detailed so that something new can catch your eye throughout the entire month."
